Garry Jennings Wins the Modern Tyres Mourne Rally 2016

On Saturday morning all the participants gathered at the Modern Tyres Carnbane depot in Newry for the starting of the Mourne Rally 2016. One driver in the midst of the rallying horde would truly dominate the competition - Garry Jennings.

Jennings and co-driver Rory Kennedy dominated all seven stages of the Modern Tyres Mourne Rally Championship Round in his rebuilt Subaru after he had crashed in the Rally of the Lakes Last month.

Derek McGarrity and co-driver James O’Reilly took second place in the Ford Fiesta WRC and third place were Damien Toner and Patrick McCrudden in the Talbot Sunbeam.

Overall the whole event was a roaring success and Modern Tyres would like to thank everyone who participated and look forward to preparing for 2017.
