Goodyear chosen as OEM for Jaguar and Volkswagen

Goodyear has announced it has been chosen as OEM for the Jaguar E-PACE and the Volkswagen Touareg.

The best car manufacturers in the world have quite the task when they choose OEM equipment as only the highest standards will do. When it comes to tyres, the competition is fierce and a strict barrage of tests must be completed by the best tyre manufacturers in the world in order to compete for the prestigious OEM position, but only the best will do.

At Jaguar, the new E-PACE premium SUV has been chosen to fit the award winning Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 and the award winning Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Terrain as it’s OEM with both carrying the ‘JLR’ logo, a signature of approval from Jaguar and Land Rover.

Goodyear engineers developed the tyres to meet the manufacturers requirements of low rolling resistance and weight with great off-road performance.

 

For the Volkswagen Touareg, Goodyear will fit the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV, Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 SUV Summer Tyres, for All Season - Vector 4Seasons SUV Gen-2 and for Winter, the UltraGrip 8 Performance tyre.
