Modern Tyres at the Limerick Show 2016

Limerick’s biggest Family and Agricultural Show got under way in the last weekend of August and Modern Tyres Ballysimon were there as one of the sponsors.

The Limerick Show is very much part of Limerick’s history and plays a very important part in the local, family and agricultural community. Since 1929 the community has got together along with local businesses and agricultural leaders to take part in events and are able to display their goods to all who come to enjoy this grand experience.

The sun was out and with some of the best weather this summer so far, the Modern Tyres stand was set up and ready to go. Brid McCarthy, Modern Tyres Limerick depot manager, along with the team, Julian, Kestaf and John, managed to raise €270 for the Make A Wish foundation with the Modern Tyres Football challenge. Well done to the team and a huge thank you for all your efforts.

 

Modern Tyres came to the rescue of the Kiddie Train which had a puncture. With all his tools at hand, Julian managed to repair the puncture and get the train up and running as swiftly as possible and back on track.

 

All in all it was a great couple of days and we are looking forward to next years show!
